Now that the summer heat is here, it is a perfect time to
learn to weave at Tres Manos in the historic Old Tortilla Factory in Mesilla, NM. This summer we are offering the following classes for adults:
Basic Weaving: June 13-14 and June 20-21, 2015
Intermediate Weaving: July 18-19 and July 25-26, 2015
Basic Weaving: August 15-16 and August 22-23, 2015
Intermediate Weaving: September 19-20 and
September 26-27, 2015

Course Description: Get to know the parts of a loom and their functions. Students will learn
how to plan a project, how to dress the loom, the fundamental s of weaving, and how to finish
your project. Students will complete a table runner in colors to complement your home.
Course Description: The class will review dressing a loom, figuring warp measurements, and
ends per inch. Students will learn how to read a draft, keep a diary, repair errors and mistakes, how to plan a project, and how to finish your project. Each student will complete a cotton scarf in your choice of pattern and colors.
Each class is two weekends consecutively. Hours are 9am to 3 pm on Saturday and 10am to 3pm on Sunday. All classes are held at Tres Manos Weaving Studio in the Old Tortilla Factory, Mesilla, NM. See Contact for map. Class size is limited to 6 students (English or Spanish-speaking) and
2 instructors so that everyone gets lots of individual attention.
All materials and loom are provided. Just bring your lunch! Class price is $150.00. Credit cards are accepted. Payment is due at registration. Call Tres Manos Weaving at 575-835-8914 to register.
